Some Celtic fans have been hailing the performance of on-loan Southampton man Mohamed Elyounoussi after their recent Scottish Cup game against Clyde.
The Hoops notched up a convincing 3-0 win over Clyde in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup this weekend, progressing into the quarter-finals of the competition to face St. Johnstone away from home. The win saw Scott Brown, Vakoun Issouf Bayo and Olivier Ntcham score a goal each.
Should Elyounoussi play regularly for Celtic now?
Yes, he deserves that
No, he has to take his time
But the Celtic fans were particularly impressed by the performance of Elyounoussi. They paid tribute to his positive impact after the game.

Think he is a fantastic player and hope we can shape the system to give him more game time. Huge asset.

Mental how good Moi looks even though he’s been out for ages… touch is a wee bit off, but he’s still on another level.

Thought Elyounoussi was brilliant today. Chuffed he’s back. Definitely start him on Wednesday night. The link up play between him, Edouard and Christie is superb. pic.twitter.com/HtyEcGmJ51

Celtic signed the Norwegian on a loan deal in the summer from Southampton – the club he joined in the previous year from Swiss side Basel for a £16 million fee.
So far this season, the player has made 13 appearances in all competitions for the club. He has racked up a tally of seven goals and a total of six assists.
What do we think?
In the Europa League, the £10.8 million-rated Elyounoussi (as per Transfermarkt) has produced an average of one key pass per game while completing 1.3 dribbles per game. He had one goal and one assist to his name in the group stage and it shows that with the competition set to restart, he can be an important player for Celtic following his comeback.
