Spurs fans have been reacting to a post from Alasdair Gold in which he discusses potential free signings that the North London club could make this summer.
Included in his list of 10 possible signings on Football.london is current Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi, whose contract is set to expire at the end of this season. The 32-year-old has been a regular for Maurizio Sarri’s side this season; making 16 starts in Serie A, although he has averaged a disappointing 6.58 rating.
The French international will already be familiar with the likes of Hugo Lloris, Tanguy Ndombele and Moussa Sissoko from their games together with the national side and would certainly bring a lot of experience with him should he make the move to the Premier League this summer.
Would Matuidi be a good signing for Spurs?

I’d give a couple of limbs to get Matuidi

Matuidi would be a coup

These Spurs fans would clearly consider the signing of Matuidi to be a good one, however, other fans were less keen on signing the experienced midfielder.
With the exception of Meunier, i wouldn’t want any of them

Maybe Fraser. But the rest are so bad

Frazer is the only player I’d go for

These Spurs fans are clearly split on the possible signing of Matuidi and any other free signings that the club could make this summer.
What do we think?
Matuidi would certainly bring a lot of experience with him should Spurs try and make a move for him in the summer while he could provide an upgrade on Victor Wanyama and Eric Dier, both of whom have struggled to perform so far this season.
