Last night, Cardiff City won back-to-back league matches for the first time since reaching three wins in a row in early December.
Their 3-0 win against Huddersfield boosts Cardiff to eighth place, just four points off sixth-placed Preston North End.
The win may not have been achieved if not for a stunning performance from Lee Tomlin. The midfielder came up clutch during the match, assisting the match’s opening goal with a cheeky no-look through ball.
It was the player’s seventh assist of the season.
When the player tweeted out to fans, they praised his performance. They think he has been a crucial part of their team recently.
Well played mate. What a game ??

Tomlin with the assist again what would we do without him! Also Murphy with another goal class!

What was better?
Tomlin's assist
Murphy's finish
What do we think?
If Tomlin can continue setting up his teammates as he did against Huddersfield, it could help lift Neil Harris’ side into a place where they can challenge for a play-off spot. For now, fans seem content with the Englishman’s performances.
