Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to react to footage of John McGinn’s stunning goal against Sheffield Wednesday.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @TyBracey shared a post on their official Twitter account that included a video originally posted by @SoccerAM of McGinn’s fantastic volley at Villa Park last season.
The post was captioned calling the goal “one of the best goals Villa Park has ever seen” in the club’s history.

The footage showed the Scottish international scoring a perfect volleyed goal in Villa’s 2-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship last season. Now that this footage has made the rounds again on Twitter, it has paved the way for lots of Villa fans to share their thoughts on the stupendous goal from their midfielder.

What do we think?
McGinn’s volley was a thing of beauty that sent the watching Villa fans into hysterics at Villa Park. Fast forward to this season and McGinn is currently battling an ankle injury suffered back in December. The Villa fans will now be hoping for the 25-year-old to return back to action as soon as possible and try and score some more wonder goals again.
