The FA Cup tie between Birmingham City and Coventry couldn’t have been much crazier. The Blues looked down and out, with the side trailing heading into stoppage time.
Luckily for the Birmingham fans, Harlee Dean popped up with a goal to send the match to extra time. Coventry took the lead again, however, the match was tied up by Jeremie Bela at the death to send the match to penalties.
The Blues were flawless in the shoutout, scoring all four of their shots. But the heroics of Lee Camp meant that a fifth penalty wasn’t needed, with the shot-stopper coming up big to save two of Coventry’s shots from 12 yards. When the club tweeted out his heroics, the fans went mental.
The man. The myth. The legend.

Do you think Lee Camp deserves a new contract?

Some hope that the player is rewarded with a long-term contract. His current deal ends in the summer.

What do we think?
It is fair to say that without Camp, who is valued at £450k (as per Transfermarkt), Birmingham could have quite easily gone out against Coventry. But with him in the middle of the net, the fans can rest easy. They have ultimate faith in him, and rightly so.
