Are you pleased to see Wolves signing a number of youngsters for the academy?Yes, it bodes well for the futureNo, should buy ready-made players |
The young defender from Den Bosch becomes the second young Dutchman to have joined the club this season after Nigel Lonwijk joined the midlands club from PSV Eindhoven in January (per Wolves).
Hubner’s signing was initially revealed in early January when the deal from the Keuken Kampioen Divisie side’s academy was revealed by Brabants Dagblad, leaving some puzzled as to why it has taken so long for the club to announce it.
Strange, I thought he joined us in January.

What do we think?
As the article announcing the move stated, the transfer was subject to international clearance which he had just received (per Wolves), so, the club had likely been waiting for that to come through before an announcement was made.
Hubner was stated to be one of the ‘greatest talents’ in Den Bosch’s academy in early January (per Brabant Dagblad), meaning that the 16-year-old could be one to watch out for in the future.
