Fans of West Ham United have been reacting to a transfer link between the Hammers and veteran Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana.
According to The Telegraph, the London club are one of four interested in signing the Englishman when his contract expires in the summer (via West Ham News), which had some fans keen for him not to be signed.
West Ham are one of four clubs who want to sign Liverpool ace Adam Lallana in the summer.
The Hammers are set to battle Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal for Lallana in the summer, when he will become a free agent.

Would you be happy if West Ham signed Adam Lallana at the end of the season?Yes, he's a class playerNo, another sick note |
So far this term, the 31-year-old has featured in 19 games in all competitions, in which he has scored once and has two assists (as per Transfermarkt).
However, the midfielder’s time at Anfield has been marred by injuries (as per Transfermarkt) and many fans could think of other reasons as to why the move does not suit either the player nor the club.
Same old, same old. Will be 32 by start of next season. We won’t be signing anyone on his wages if we get relegated: a distinct possibility. Will be a queue heading out of the club, and who could blame them.

Why would he want to play in the Championship?

omg boring boring links day after day

One fan even mentioned he could be Wilshere 2.0, which relates to his injury history. The midfielder has suffered right the way through his Anfield career, so perhaps would be a risky signing.
Id kinda like him if we could guarantee fitness, just worry he would be Wilshere 2.0

Championship season is too long he’d never cope, be great company for Wilshire tho

So that will be a No then as we could not entice a bag of chips to our joke of a club!

What do we think?
While it is a fair point to draw attention to Lallana’s poor track record when it comes to injuries (per Transfermarkt), the middleman has proven his quality in the past.
With 81 goals and 70 assists over his senior career in football which has, so far, consisted of 440 appearances (per Transfermarkt), West Ham could do a lot worse on a free transfer if it were possible.
