Spurs fans were delighted to see some footage of Moussa Sissoko back on the training pitch as he continues to recover from his injury.
The Spurs Web tweeted out a video of the Frenchman training with the ball after the midfielder posted it on his Instagram, something which has delighted a lot of Spurs fans. The former Newcastle man has been out since January with a knee injury but looks on track for an early return, with original reports suggesting that he wouldn’t return to training until April.
So far this season, the 30-year-old has averaged a slightly disappointing 6.68 match rating (via WhoScored) for his performances in the Premier League, but considering the injury problems facing Jose Mourinho at the moment, he will no doubt be glad to see the French international nearing a return.
Do you think Sissoko can play a big part in the rest of Spurs' season?

He’s an absolute monster

Doesn’t look too far off. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Mourinho play him in a similar position to how he did against Bournemouth. Besides I don’t want him in central midfield, he’s not good enough there.

Wow. We almost forgot about Moussa- can’t wait to have him back in our midfield shoring it up making those bulldozer runs. We have missed him big time. Too underrated @StevenAzrak

These Spurs fans have clearly missed Sissoko and are glad to see him back training with the ball at his feet.
What do we think?
Although Sissoko hasn’t been in the best of form so far this season, he has shown in excellent performances against Burnley and Bournemouth that he can be a useful option for Mourinho and could definitely play a part in Spurs’ end to the season.
