Michael Oliver will take charge of Liverpool’s trip to Vicarage Road where they will face Watford on Saturday evening (via premierleague.com). Heading into this fixture, Jurgen Klopp’s side require four more wins to be crowned as Premier League champions for the first time (as per BBC Sport).
The Anfield club has won four of the last five league meetings between the two sides, scoring a total of 15 goals in those victories alone. Watford did manage to earn a draw back in August 2017 and that was also full of goals – ending up a 3-3 draw.

Despite Oliver being a popular appointment, some weren’t overly pleased to see Mike Dean named as the Video Assistant Referee.

Expect loads of VAR action. The Deanmeister General will not be upstaged.

What do we think?
Given that there are 55 points between the two sides in the Premier League table, the Liverpool fans shouldn’t be too concerned by who takes charge of this fixture.
