Spurs fans were slightly concerned to hear that Jose Mourinho is hoping to see Harry Kane back fully fit in time for their game against Leicester City in May.
The striker has been missing since suffering a hamstring injury in the New Year’s Day defeat to Southampton, with the 26-year-old originally expected to return in April. However, various reports from medical professionals have left some Spurs fans concerned about Kane’s welfare, with a lot of fans perhaps keen to see him miss the rest of the season to ensure he can recover properly ahead of the following campaign.
However, in his latest press conference, Mourinho discussed the England international’s return from injury, saying: “The Leicester match. Maybe we need that match for something – to be fourth, to be fifth, to be sixth. Maybe we need that match for something and maybe he can help us in this match. I hope,” (per Standard Sport).

Harry is a top player but have we not learned from last year look at how we treated moura are we being used by England to get him game time and would both Harry and Spurs benefit from a 100 % fit HK also next season I am hoping that when games are out of sight we sub him more

These Spurs fans clearly don’t want to see Kane rushed back and will be hoping that the club can achieve a top-four finish without risking Kane’s fitness.

Kane will surely want to be back fit ahead of the Euros in the summer, so as much as some Spurs fans might not like it, you would imagine that he will make another appearance under Jose Mourinho before the end of the season if he can recover well enough from his injury.
