Spurs fans have been reacting to the news that Steven Bergwijn is facing a driving ban after being caught speeding at 91mph.
According to Dutch news outlet VoetbalPrimeur, per The Sun, the 22-year-old was caught driving way over the speed limit during his time in the Netherlands. The winger, who joined Spurs in January from Eredivisie side PSV, could also face further sanctions after he reportedly failed to appear in court on Thursday morning.
Bergwijn has enjoyed an excellent start to his career at the North London club, scoring a goal on his debut against Manchester City, as well as an impressive performance against Aston Villa last weekend. The Dutch international, who is currently valued at £31.5 million by Transfermarkt, may need another big performance when Spurs face Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.

The news has seemingly split a lot of Spurs fans, with some strangely encouraging the 22-year-old for his driving, whilst others see it as bad news.
What do we think?
Driving at that speed is never safe and the Dutch international will deserve the driving ban if he does receive it.
