Spurs fans have been left fuming after the club posted its 2020/21 season ticket renewal pricing on Thursday.
A statement on the club’s website read: “As the price chart below shows, whilst inflation has increased our costs, we have sought to limit the Season Ticket price increase to between £12 and £33 for Adult tickets and between £6 and £9 for Concessions, keeping them below the actual rate of inflation. Barring any unforeseen or exceptional circumstances, these prices are fixed for the next two seasons – 2020/21 and 2021/22.”
With the club currently demanding a £795 fee for its cheapest season ticket, already the second-most expensive in the Premier League, Spurs fans have been left outraged by the prospect of watching their team becoming even less affordable next season.

So the most expensive tickets in world football just got even more expensive. 1 year after some fans had a 25% hike! Meanwhile most of the prem are freezing theirs again
Loyal, working class fans are being exploited. I already know fans who won’t renew. Start listening to fans!!

Yet people still keep defending Levy. Still think he’s got our best interests at heart? It’s just a business to him. All about how much money he can make as per usual.

Considering theres a good chance we wont be in the CL next year, and the team is worse than it was at this point last season, raising ticket prices is a joke. Less fans will renew their tickets, leading to a worse atmosphere at games which will only hurt us. Just stupid

Renew before 1st May. What a joke. Imange if everyone stuck together and said enough is enough. Where would club be without it’s fans. Yet it continues to charge a fortune and take take take.

disgusting!! charging us the highest prices and now increasing them further despite 1 trophy in 20 years,we do not sign the best players in world football, nor are we providing the best entertainment on the pitch, with all that considered how can this be justified #enicout

Cos the club really need that extra £20 or so per fan. Getting fed up with the greed at the club. Club seeming to perform financially superior yet still wants more from loyal fans. Oh yeah, also, bring free cup games back.

What do we think?
Unfortunately for us football fans, watching the sport we love is becoming increasingly more expensive, be that at home on television or going to the ground on matchday. The irony of this situation is that our love and passion for the game is actually what is making it more costly.
Statistics show that despite continual price increases, both in matchday and season tickets, Premier League stadiums are fuller than ever. With the knowledge that fans will pay whatever the price, clubs are free to charge as much as they like for their season tickets, something that may only increase further over the coming years.
Unless external intervention from the Premier League occurs, as has happened in the Bundesliga, then fans will either have to protest with their absence, while missing out on their beloved team’s action or carry on paying the price year-in, year-out.
