Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on a potential Anfield return for Philippe Coutinho.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldWatch shared a post on their official page relaying quotes made by former Red Steve McManaman to HorseRacing.net via Goal that the club should consider bringing the Brazilian back to Merseyside.
Have Liverpool missed Coutinho?
Yes
No
This post then gathered numerous replies from Liverpool fans who did not agree with McManaman’s quotes.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans not wanting Coutinho to return to the club:

The 27-year-old is currently on a season-long loan deal at German club Bayern Munich after striking a deal with parent club Barcelona. In 26 appearances for the Bundesliga side, Coutinho has managed to rack up seven goals and eight assists so far this season in all competitions (per Transfermarkt). Now that Mcmanaman has suggested the club should do the work to bring Coutinho back to Anfield where he left in January 2018, not all Liverpool fans share his view.
He is an amazing player no one understands football can deny that, but the current liverpool strategy doesn’t suit him, klopp need fighters in the midfield and high pressure which he can’t afford.

What do we think?
It seems that these Liverpool fans are so confident in their current squad that they don’t believe Coutinho, who is currently valued at £63 million, would improve the team. But given that Liverpool have won 24 out of a possible 25 Premier League games so far this season, it’s hard to disagree with them.
