Will need to be short term… He will be injured before you know it

Could Darron Gibson still be an Everton player if not for his injuries?Yes, they marred his time hereNo, wasn't good enough anyway |
The 32-year-old midfielder played at Goodison Park between January 2012 and the summer of 2017, arriving from Manchester United and departing for Sunderland (as per Transfermarkt).
During his time in Merseyside, Gibson featured on 69 occasions for the Toffees, during which he bagged two goals and six assists (as per Transfermarkt), however, there was another thing which fans picked up on from his signing photo.
Looks happy there like

Looks like he’s absolutely delighted with the move!

Facially he loks like he has halved his weight. Great footballer but really slow across the pitch.

What do we think?
Over the duration of Gibson’s career, his time with different clubs has been marred by injury (per Transfermarkt) and for the player’s sake, hopefully, that is all behind him.
Having played the entirety of his career at a higher level than League Two (per Transfermarkt), Gibson’s ability may also help him to hit the ground running in Salford.
