West Bromwich Albion fans have flocked over to Twitter to respond to the latest news reported on Nathan Ferguson.
This comes after Baggies journalist Joseph Masi shared a post on his official Twitter page revealing that Ferguson will undergo surgery next week for on his knee.
In an article for the Express & Star, Masi also revealed how Ferguson’s agent has expressed the player’s intentions of leaving the Birmingham club.
Would you want to see Nathan Ferguson play for West Brom again?
Yes
No
This Twitter post in which Masi called Ferguson’s chances of playing for the club again as “highly unlikely”, then gathered a lot of replies from West Brom fans who were quick to share their thoughts on the situation.
Here’s a sample of Baggies fans react to this latest update:
Nathan Ferguson will undergo exploratory surgery on his knee next week – but his agent has again expressed his desire to leave Albion. Highly, highly unlikely he'll ever play for West Brom again https://t.co/BEHndCRZEF #wba

He really, really has got dreadful representation. Absolutely money hungry, with no interest in Ferguson’s well-being.

I only want players at my club who want to wear that badge on their chest, not those who chase money and seek better deals every transfer window. Enjoy your career of mediocrity and nothingness like every other youngster who thought they were bigger than the Albion. See ya ????

Wow. Expects the club to pick up the bill for his knee surgery and rehabilitation but has no intention of staying. Cheers Nathan.

The 19-year-old was recently linked with a move away from the Hawthorns to Premier League side Crystal Palace in the January transfer window. After the move broke down, this latest update dismissing Ferguson’s chances of ever playing for the Birmingham club again has caught the attention of a lot of West Brom fans, who were not happy with either Ferguson or his agent.
What on earth have Albion/Bilic done soo wrong to deserve this rubbish from Ferguson and his agent. Gave him his chance and easily could have signed a contract with release clauses and kept on playing for us for time being. Why is there such bad feeling from agent towards us!

People will say his agent this and his agent that but the end of the day Ferguson has his own brain and his own voice. The agent works for him not the other way round, he can easily say no or get rid of the agent. Ferguson wants out more than people think

This isn’t sour grapes, hes massively overrated, and in a couple of years will find his level, and it isn’t in the Premier League.

What do we think?
It’s a shame that Ferguson’s latest update after his near exit from the club has turned so many West Brom fans against him. If Ferguson does eventually end up leaving the club, it seems that he wouldn’t be missed by these fans.
