Would you like to see Tim Cahill return to Everton in a coaching role?Yes, would be great to have him backNo, Ancelotti has a strong set of staff |
Cahill secured his legendary status at Goodison Park over an eight-year period in Merseyside between 2004 and 2012, arriving from Millwall and departing for MLS outfit New York Red Bulls (as per Transfermarkt).
Over his eight-year stay, the 40-year-old Australian bagged 68 goals and 29 assists in 276 outings for the Toffees (per Transfermarkt), which left fans keen for a future Cahill return in some capacity.
Re-sign him Carlo!

What do we think?
While Cahill’s goalscoring record for the Toffees is good but not stellar, with 97 direct goal contributions in 276 outings (per Transfermarkt), it is clear that the player and the fans have a deep affinity for one another.
Should Ancelotti ever wish to add the former Goodison Park star to the coaching staff at Goodison Park, it is clear to see from the fan response that Cahill’s return would be welcomed with open arms.
