Supporters of Everton have been discussing a possible signing of Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira after a transfer report on the pair.
According to the Express, as cited by BBC Sport, Manchester United are likely to sell the pair in the summer, which had some Everton fans dreading them potentially arriving at Goodison Park (via Everton News Feed).

During this season, Pereira and Lingard have been the Red Devils’ 13th and eighth-worst performers in the Premier League, with a 6.58/10 and 6.27/10 average rating respectively (per WhoScored).
While many supporters were not keen on the idea of the Toffees attempting to sign either of the pair, some supporters were not completely against the idea of their arrival.
Andreas Pereira has some history with brands, he is a good and young talented midfielder, he could be a good option for Everton!

What do we think?
After featuring in 20 Premier League games so far this season and bagging no goals or assists (per WhoScored), it seems Lingard would be a definite no for most Everton supporters.
With one goal and three assists over 23 appearances in England’s top flight this term, though, it seems as though fans could warm to Pereira a little more easily.
