Supporters of Everton have shown their delight following a rumour that a pre-season friendly with Everton de Viña del Mar is set to be arranged.
According to a tweet from @PeraltaFifa, representatives from the Toffees are currently in Chile at the Estadio Sausalito arranging a friendly with their namesake for the summer (via Everton News Feed), which fans were delighted with.

Chilean side Everton de Viña del Mar were formed in 1909 and were named after the Premier League side after they had just completed a tour of South America (per The Guardian).
Last time the two sides met in ‘The Brotherhood Cup’, the Toffees were victorious at Goodison Park (as per The Guardian) and supporters were looking forward to the potential rematch in Sausalito.

While some supporters seem eager to get tickets booked for this one in advance, hopefully, they wait for clarification over whether the friendly will be in Sausalito, Chile or Sausalito, California.
However, this one seems to have most supporters delighted and it appears that they are already looking forward to another tie in ‘The Brotherhood Cup’.
