Aston Villa fans have been reacting on Twitter to Jacob Ramsey’s stunning debut performance for Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page revealing that Ramsey had scored two goals in his first appearance for Doncaster in their 3-0 win over Tranmere Rovers in League One.

The attacking-midfielder picked up a match rating of 8.6 according to WhoScored, the highest of any player on the pitch in Tuesday’s clash. Before leaving for Doncaster, Ramsey had made 12 appearances for Villa’s U23 squad in their Premier League 2 campaign, scoring six and assisting three (per Transfermarkt). What do we think?
It’s incredible to see Ramsey having such a strong start to his loan spell at Doncaster. With his performance having caught the attention of this many Villa fans, they will now be hoping that Ramsey can build on this great start at Doncaster and maybe become more of a regular figure in Dean Smith’s side next season.
