These West Brom fans discuss Louie Barry moving from Barcelona to his new club Aston Villa.
According to BBC Sport, as well as Aston Villa’s official account, Louie Barry has moved from Barcelona to Aston Villa for a fee of 1m euros (£840k), which is of interest to West Brom fans due to the Baggies never receiving their £235k compensation from the Spanish giants for Barry. Joseph Masi relayed the news to these Baggies fans via Twitter.
Barry left West Brom’s U18s in July 2019 to join Barcelona, however, after featuring just three times for the Spaniards, the 16-year-old has now joined Villa.
Here are some of the comments from the West Brom fans on Twitter:

The systems a joke but no point getting to wound up , the guys nothing special yet and no guarantee he ever will be , could quite easily be a League 2 player in a few years and we won’t be complaining then

These West Brom fans clearly feel that it’s unfair that Barcelona can sell Louie Barry on, without even paying the proper compensation to Slaven Bilic’s side.
Stinks this does, shocking how this has gone on in modern football where finance supposed to be transparent. Fingers crossed the vile drop back down !

Surely now Barca should have a seasons transfer ban. If I bought a house and then sold without paying the person I purchased it off I am sure I would be done for fraud.

Should Barcelona receive a transfer ban?
Yes
No
What Do We Think?
West Brom has clearly drawn the short straw here, as it seems Barcelona has sold a player on without actually buying him. There’s no telling what the future might hold for Louie Barry, but at just 16 years old he’s definitely had a bumpy start to his career.
