Some Celtic fans have been raving about the performance of their midfielder Callum McGregor after the win over Ross County recently.
The Hoops managed to increase their lead at the top of the Premiership to five points. But Neil Lennon’s men picked up a 3-0 win over Ross County, as Odsonne Edouard grabbed a brace and McGregor himself got a goal in the clash.
Has McGregor been the Player of the Season so far?
No question about it

After the game, many Hoops fans were hailing McGregor for his contributions to the club. A fan called ‘Ewan’ also posted a message for the midfielder and it got many Bhoys talking.

McGregor, who is valued at £4.5 million (as per Transfermarkt), is a product of the Celtic youth academy, having made his debut for the club in the 2014-15 campaign. That debut came after a spell at former League One club Notts County in the 2013-14 campaign.
In the ongoing season for the Bhoys, McGregor has made 39 appearances in all competitions for the club. He has picked up a tally of eight goals and he also got six assists for the club.
For the club last season, the 26-year-old was a regular. He made 59 appearances in all competitions for the club. He got as many as six goals and also racked up 16 assists for the Bhoys.
During his spell at Notts County, McGregor made 41 appearances for the club. He also got 14 goals and one assist to his name.
What do we think?
The manner in which McGregor has climbed up the ranks at the same club shows what the club means to him and vice versa. The number of goals and assists he has got the club on a regular basis shows what an impactful player he has been.
