Rangers snuck away with a 1-0 win against St. Mirren this week, keeping them two points off first place with a game in hand. The goal margin could have, and should have, been bigger considering how far down the table St. Mirren is. But three points will satisfy Steven Gerrard for now.
Fans will similarly have hoped for more goals. Despite this, they were thrilled with the performance of Nikola Katic during the match. The central defender has scored three goals for his side this season in just 21 appearances. The supporters thought he could have had another against St. Mirren too, claiming that he was their biggest threat in the air. They think he was their Man of the Match.

Was Katic your MOTM against St. Mirren?
Yes
No
Others praised Katic’s defensive game. They think he was solid at the back.
Katic caused their defence problems from set pieces but was once again solid at the back

Goldson, Katic, Barisic all played fantastic in my opinion. Yes they didn’t overly have a lot to do but still done the job well.

What do we think?
Katic, who is valued at £1.8 million (as per Transfermarkt), is becoming a regular in Gerrard’s side, playing 90 minutes in each of Rangers’ last five league matches. This comes off the back of the player sitting on the bench for six league matches in a row. If he can continue his form it will be a huge boost to Gerrard, who is without an injured Filip Helander until the end of the month.
