A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to the news that Leif Davis will be out for about a month after he had a minor operation to clean up some cartilage in his knee.
The 20-year-old, who is valued at £90k by Transfermarkt, signed a new deal in November of last year, and he has featured on the bench eight times for the Whites as well as playing both of the club’s EFL Cup matches and three Championship games.
Will Davis return within a month?
Yes, sounds like a simple operation
No, he will be out for as long as Forshaw
Marcelo Bielsa believes that the Newcastle-born left-back has a good future ahead of him; however, these Leeds fans are now concerned that they will never see Davis again.

Time appears to be relative in the treatment room of Elland Road.

Ahhh, the old ‘back within the month.’ Remember when Forshaw was out for a ‘short time’?

See him next year then. All the best lad.

So sad to see him retire at such a young age.

Another player down, and still no goal scorer. We need someone in place before next Tuesday. It’s now getting desperate

See him in April then yeah !

Hope it’s not a Forshaw month

What do we think?
Many Whites supporters are worried about this because they were told that Adam Forshaw would be out for a short time, and he has instead missed the last 20 matches!
Davis, though, is much younger, and his body should be able to recover quicker.
Leeds have Ezgjan Alioski, Barry Douglas, and Stuart Dallas as the options for left-back – so the club should be able to deal with Davis’ absence, and hopefully, he can return as a better player.
