While Rangers are in the middle of a 19-day break from Scottish football, the club have travelled to Dubai where they are set to face Lokomotiv Tashkent (The Scottish Sun). The trip is a brilliant opportunity for the team to reboot before a busy and critical end to the 2019/2020 season.
As the Rangers Twitter account posted a photo of the team landing, eagle-eyed fans spotted Ross McCrorie with the team. McCrorie is currently on loan with Portsmouth, so fans were naturally surprised by his presence in the squad. Many of them think this is a sign of the player’s permanent return to the Gers.

Are you happy to see Ross McCrorie join the squad in Dubai?
Yes
No
Others hope that if McCrorie returns he will fight for a place in the first-team. They think Steven Davis could mentor him.
Good to have this young man back where he belongs. Go on Ross get yourself back into 1st team

Great player. Brilliant if he is back. Davis could mentor him to replace him in few years

What do we think?
McCrorie’s presence in the squad is certainly a sign of intent from Steven Gerrard. The club have an option to recall McCrorie from his loan this January if they wish (The Scottish Sun). Perhaps bringing him to Dubai is a chance for him to prove his worth to Gerrard before the window closes.
