It was a tough day for Rangers fans as their side lost 2-1 against Hearts in the Scottish Premiership. The match puts them five points behind their rivals with a game in hand. But, unfortunately for Rangers fans, their day became a little worse.
When Shrewsbury tied Liverpool 2-2 in the FA Cup, ex-Rangers player Jason Cummings scored a brace. It rubbed salt in the Rangers fans’ wounds, as his goals could have turned the game around for Steven Gerrard on Sunday. They can’t believe they let him go. One fan questions whether the club has a retention option on the player.
Do you think Cummings should have stayed at Rangers?
Yes
No
Canny believe we let cummings go

Jason Cummings is just making this day hurt that bit more.

No one is going to tell me that the likes of Sheyi Ojo, Greg Stewart etc are better than a player Rangers had and let go in Jason Cummings.

Jason Cummings scoring a double is not what Rangers fans needed tonight

Rangers lose and Jason Cummings scores twice against Liverpool. Today can get in the bin.

Sean Goss and Jason Cummings bossing the Champions League winners. Never got a chance at Rangers…

You know it’s been a bad day when Jason Cummings is being touted for a return.

Have we still got an option on Cummings?

What do we think?
It is unlikely that Cummings is on Rangers’ radar when it comes to transfers. The player is valued at £675,000 according to transfermarkt.co.uk. Scoring twice against Liverpool is impressive, but probably not enough to get you a late January move.
