These Queens Park Rangers fans have been discussing Conor Masterson after a Twitter post from the club.
After the club tweeted out footage of Masterson during the 1-0 win over Leeds United, some of these QPR fans felt it was a little bit over the top.
The defender finished the match with an impressive WhoScored rating of 7.3/10, which was the fourth-highest out of all the players.

This was Masterson’s first start for QPR in the Championship, so you can see why some of these Rangers fans feel it’s a little too early to be getting excited about the 21-year-old.

Totally agree with you all gents. I guess we’re all optimistically praying for a new hero. As for why this happens – media people are all measured on those ‘engagement’ stats. Bigging up the latest flavour of the month is an easy way to get them I guess.

What Do We Think?
Obviously, it’s fine for Masterson to get credit for his solid first start at QPR, but maybe comparing him to Maldini is a little bit over the top, especially given that the 21-year-old has only played twice in the Championship this season.
