Liverpool fans on Twitter have been reminiscing over Roy Hodgson’s time in charge of the club.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnythingLFC_ shared a throwback post on their page revealing that it was nine years ago (on 8th of January) when Hodgson was sacked as Liverpool manager.
Is Roy Hodgson Liverpool's worst ever manager?
Yes
No
This post then led to a number of Liverpool fans replying with their thoughts on the club during this time.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans reflecting on Hodgson’s sacking:

The current Crystal Palace manager took over at Anfield back in the summer of 2010. However, just half a season into his tenure as Liverpool boss, he was sacked in January 2011 after a poor run of results (per TransferMarkt).
Now that it is nine years to the day of Hodgson’s sacking, some Liverpool fans have been discussing what it was like to support the club back then.
Grim days and worst in my time as a fan of 30 years

Roy should be in jail right now

Still convinced the penalty miss from Stevie was missed on purpose, still think Hodgson’s treatment of @DanielAgger was also a disgrace, glad he was eventually sacked as he would’ve thought nothing of us being relegated. Dark times.

What do we think?
Given the list of poor results under Hodgson, it comes as no surprise that not many Liverpool fans have fond memories of his time as manager.
