Liverpool fans have been responding on Twitter to the club’s latest transfer announcement.
This comes after the official Liverpool Twitter account shared a post on their page revealing that Nathaniel Phillips “has returned” to Stuttgart on loan until the end of the season.
Should Liverpool have kept Phillips until the end of the season?
Yes
No
This post then gathered a number of replies from Liverpool fans who were quick to share their thoughts on the latest move for the defender.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans reacting to this latest club post:

The defender was on loan at the German club at the beginning of the season but was brought back to Anfield to play against Everton in the FA Cup earlier this month. After beating their rivals 1-0 to proceed to the next stage of the competition, the club has allowed Phillips to return back to Stuttgart for the remainder of the season.
This latest move for Phillips has made a number of Liverpool fans reflect on his short spell back at the club.
Great Game against Everton definitely 1 for the future!

Liverpool Legend already, i don’t care if he never plays for us again, or becomes the next VVD, he came back from loan just to beat the Ev, then went back

What do we think?
To be recalled to play against your close rivals and beat them, only to be sent back to Germany is certainly an odd move. But the win against Everton definitely justified the temporary move back to Anfield.
