Liverpool fans have been discussing Sergio Aguero on Twitter after Graeme Souness’ comments on the striker.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldWatch shared a post on their official page asking their followers whether Aguero would get into the current Liverpool team.
Would Aguero get into Liverpool's front three?
Yes
No
This refers to comments made by former Red Graeme Souness who stated when speaking to Sky Sports: “I don’t think there is any team in the world he would not get in.”
This post then led to a number of Liverpool fans replying with their thoughts on the matter.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans claiming Aguero would get into their current team:
If I would be truthful, I think he would walk into this Liverpool team, if anything, he should displace salah comfortably… But for sadio and firmino, I think it would be difficult displacing them.

The Manchester City striker broke two Premier League records in City’s 6-1 victory over Aston Villa. Aguero scored his 12th hat-trick to become the highest overseas goalscorer in Premier League history. His goals in Sunday’s match also saw the Argentine overtake Thierry Henry’s 175 Premier League goals and level Frank Lampard’s 177 (per Sky Sports).
After the match, Souness’ comments on the striker sparked a big debate on Twitter whether the striker would fit into Liverpool’s current side.
He would fit in with us wish we had him years ago tho as he’s coming to end of his time soon

Aguero would fit seamlessly into our side and would probably score about 40 goals a season in our current line-up

What do we think?
There wouldn’t be any City fan that would be happy to see Aguero in a Liverpool shirt, but purely hypothetically, the striker’s goals would be beneficial to any team in the world, including Liverpool.
