Fulham missed the opportunity to close the gap on second-placed Leeds United to just a single point after they were held to a disappointing draw by Championship strugglers Charlton Athletic at the Valley.
Sections of the club’s fanbase have been quick to put the blame on Scott Parker, questioning both his tactics and his ability to motivate the team ahead of what was such a vital game.
Here’s what some of the supporters had to say regarding the 39-year-old.
Is Scott Parker to blame for the result?

A point for the cause? We needed 3. Parker set us up for the nil nil and that’s what he got. We were disjointed, had zero urgency. Bowyer our foxes Parker again!!!!!!

No urgency to attack. Happy to keep possession at the back with minutes to go. Letting them set up at the back. Need a goal, stick Christie on

What do we think?
It’s not uncommon to see supporters of any club turn on their manager in the aftermath of a disappointing result in a game they were expected to win. However, the reality is that Scott Parker has done an excellent job since taking the reins back in February, winning 33 of his 56 matches in charge. The fact that the Cottagers remain in with a chance of achieving automatic promotion despite Wednesday’s set-back is evidence of that.
Fulham face Huddersfield Town in their next fixture, a game in which they will no doubt be the favourites to win and the perfect opportunity to get back to winning ways.
