Some Celtic fans are making sure that they want to see Hibernian star Martin Boyle at Parkhead in the ongoing January transfer window.
The Hoops have previously been linked with a move for the Australian player, who was scouted by the club recently. Celtic head of football operations Nick Hammond had reportedly watched from the Easter Road stands in the Hibs’ recent game against Hamilton.
Celtic fans: Boyle or Grosicki?
Boyle anyday!
Grosicki suits us
Many Hoops fans have gone back to this news. CelticGossip talked about the player and many Bhoys fans revealed that they want the player at Parkhead this month.
Absolutely mate, agreed,Boyle has lightning pace and can score goals,we have a habit in this country of thinking players from abroad are always better.

Boyle and Benkovic before Friday midnight would be good but can’t see Hibs being very hospitable unless we throw Bayo into the deal..

Boyle every time

If it is short term end of the season then Boyle may be the best option due to familiarity

Boyle, who is valued at £900k (as per Transfermarkt), is 26 and is a winger by trade. He has played either on the left or on the right for the Hibs this season. He has made 18 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring six goals and racking up just as many assists. Eight of his appearances have come on the right-wing.
Last season, the Australian had made 25 appearances in all competitions for this club. He scored four goals and racked up six assists.
He had joined the club in the summer of 2015 after his contract at Dundee had expired. Since then, Boyle has made 178 appearances in all competitions for Hibs and has scored 34 times for the club.
What do we think?
At 26, Boyle is a proven SPL signing and would add depth on either side for Neil Lennon’s men. He will be a good signing and will not be too expensive, considering his contract runs out in the summer of 2021.
