Some Celtic fans have been left annoyed by the club’s denial of their interest in signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama.
Sky Sports have recently reported that the Hoops were in talks to sign the Kenyan, but they later updated it to say that Celtic have denied the rumours and they aren’t looking to bring the player back to Parkhead this month.
Do you trust Sky Sports on this one?
Nah, he's coming
Yes, he's not coming
When Sky Sports Scotland reported the news about Hoops denying their interest, it left many Celtic fans annoyed. They want the club to make the move happen on deadline day this month.

So far this season, Wanyama has cut an isolated figure at Tottenham. He has made only four first-team appearances for the club, with only one coming under Jose Mourinho. He has made only two Premier League appearances, playing only 24 minutes for the club.
His best campaign for Spurs came in the 2016-17 season, when he helped the club finish second in the Premier League. Wanyama had made 47 appearances in all competitions that season, scoring five times and assisting once.
Since then though, he has been struggling with injuries. Wanyama has missed 47 games in all competitions since the 2016-17 season and all of them were due to knee troubles.
What do we think?
No one knows what’s going on, considering Celtic have denied the rumours. It could be a case of the club merely being interested and not actively holding talks for him. But anything can happen on deadline day. There is always a chance.
