Aston Villa fans have been calling for the club to sign Hertha Berlin striker Davie Selke before the January transfer window closes.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @astonforza shared a post on their page relaying information from BILD that the club are “in discussions” with the German side over a move for the striker.
Do Villa need to sign another striker this month?

The 25-year-old has 86 goals and 29 assists in 215 club appearances throughout his career, with 19 of those goals coming for current club Hertha, the most he has ever scored for a club (per Transfermarkt). Now that news has emerged that Villa are interested in bringing the striker to the Premier League, some fans of the Birmingham club have been letting their feelings known on the potential move.

What do we think?
If Villa can bring Selke to the club to add an extra option to their attacking force alongside Mbwana Samatta and Keinan Davis, Selke could help the club avoid relegation back to the Championship whilst filling in for the injured Wesley.
