Some Celtic fans have been reacting to the injury Jeremie Frimpong faced in the club’s recent 3-1 win over Kilmarnock in the Premiership.
The Hoops remained at the top of the Premiership, as goals from Odsonne Edouard, Leigh Griffiths and Christopher Jullien helped them to a 3-1 win.
Was the foul on Frimpong a red card?
Clear red, no question!
It was accidental!
But the Hoops’ game saw Frimpong get injured and get stretchered out. And many Celtic fans expressed their anger at the foul Frimpong suffered that led to the injury. They aren’t happy with the decision.
I think Andy Walker and the referee need to go to specsavers

Late and reckless, foul/ yellow card imo looks if hes going for the ball, could’ve went right through him there if he wanted.

Ask yourself if that was in England what would have been the decision?
Look at how that game was managed by the referee he let umpteen fouls go when yellows should have been shown for challenges and persistent fouling.

Frimpong joined Celtic from Manchester City in the summer of 2019 for an undisclosed fee, while Manchester United youngster Lee O’Connor also having joined on a free transfer around the same time.
Since joining, Frimpong has become a regular for the club at the right-back position. He has made 16 appearances in all competitions for the club, also scoring twice and racking up a tally of three assists so far. Before arriving, he had made three appearances in the Premier League 2 for the Man City Under-23s side.
What do we think?
Frimpong’s injury comes as a big blow for the club. His numbers show how much attacking intent he brings to the side and the Hoops will miss his thrust from the right side.
