Some Celtic fans have been making it clear that they don’t really know what is going on with their outcast forward Marian Shved, with the January transfer window now open.
The Hoops have Odsonne Edouard as their chief striker, with Lewis Morgan and Leigh Griffiths also acting as potential options for the striker positions. The right-wing sees James Forrest play regularly in Neil Lennon’s 4-2-3-1 shape.
Celtic fans: Do you want Shved to play?
Deserves a chance!
Lennon knows best!
The alarm bells for Celtic fans is ringing when it comes to Shved. One of the fans posted a video of the forward and the Hoops fans feel something isn’t right with the 22-year-old Ukrainian.
Is that whats happened to him! He’s in the clink?

Must be a terrible trainer otherwise how else can you explain him not even getting near the bench?
— David Murray (@Murrayserge) January 5, 2020
Probably trying to bulk him up first

So far this season, Forrest has played 35 times in all competitions for the club. While doing that, the Scotland international has racked up a tally of 14 goals and as many as 16 assists for the club. In the Premiership, he has contributed to 19 goals for the club.
As for Shved, he has made just a single Premiership appearance this season. In the Champions League qualifying stages earlier in the season, he played once and scored once too. But he hasn’t played even once in the League Cup.
The winger joined the club from Ukrainian side Karpaty Lviv in the January of 2019 when he became the first player from Ukraine to play for the club.
For Lviv last season, Shved played 26 times in all competitions. He scored 15 times during that time, racking up four assists as well.
What do we think?
Forrest has been playing too regularly this season, having started every game. He surely needs rest and since Shved has already made two appearances and has one goal to his name, he deserves a chance. His record at his former club shows that he can be a very useful player.
