Some Celtic fans have made it clear that they don’t want the decade to end and are hailing the golden decade that the club has had, in response to one of the club’s tweets.

The Hoops recently lost the Old Firm derby to their fierce rivals, who picked up a 2-1 win in the Premiership. This game saw the gap cut to two points, whilst their rivals have a game in hand too. If they win that game, they will go to the top of the table.

Celtic fans: Will this be your decade?

The club recently posted a message on Twitter, hailing the decade that they’ve had. And Celtic fans are desperate to see that the end of the decade does not end their success and that it keeps coming.

The Bhoys are still at the top of the Premiership but they are currently at the risk of missing out on winning the title for the first time in ten years. It could also be the first time that Rangers win the Premiership since they returned to the Scottish top flight.

So far this season, Rangers and Celtic are level on goal difference. But Neil Lennon’s men have scored more goals than the Gers and that is the highest tally in the league of – 55. They have conceded a total of 13 goals so far, while Rangers have shipped just 11. And the Gers have the best record in the league.

When it comes to the Europa League, Celtic have already made it to the next round of the competition. They lost only one game in the group stages in the competition, losing to Cluj in the last game. They face Copenhagen in the Round of 32.

What do we think?

How this season goes will define the decade for the club. And that’s why the January transfer window will be crucial for them. If they make the right signings, they could have a better chance to go on and win the Premiership once again. If they don’t, the decade could be off to a poor start. Celtic fans surely won’t be too pleased with that.
