After facing Coventry City at St. Andrew’s Park in the first leg of their FA Cup Fourth Round fixture, Birmingham City only managed to tie the game 0-0. The clubs have been sharing the stadium for the season as part of a groundshare agreement.
Birmingham’s Twitter account announced that the club had a record-breaking away attendance on the day. Of course, Birmingham City were the away team in their own grounds that day. Many fans didn’t find the comment amusing. They think the club’s Twitter admin is dragging out the joke and are upset that the club isn’t more concerned with drawing with League One opposition in their own stadium.

How long is the admin going to drag this on for? Performance was not good enough.

Let’s go for the opposite for the replay, boycott the game to show the owners we’re not happy and let’s try for the lowest home attendance…
It won’t happen though, because we’re too loyal…— Robert Pickard (@RobertPickard1) January 27, 2020
Smoke and mirrors comes to mind . Our club shouldn’t even be in this position to start with , hardly something to brag about. Sack the board their out of their depth, we’re going backwards for the last 5 years.

Do you think Clotet can turn this season around?
Yes
No
One fan jokes that it was the worst away performance from any team at St. Andrew’s this season as well.
Probably the worst away side to play at stans all season too

What do we think?
It is pretty clear that Blues fans are tired of the club paving over the fact that they haven’t been playing well. The side has only won two of their last 11 matches. Hopefully, for the fans, their side will find redemption when they face Coventry in the reverse fixture. Sadly, however, they can’t use the ‘away team’ excuse any longer.
