The former Liverpool man signed for the Birmingham club this week on a loan deal from AC Milan until the end of the season. In his long career, Reina has racked up a total of 789 club appearances (per TransferMarkt).
Now that his temporary move to Villa has been confirmed, some Villa fans took to Twitter to welcome the 37-year-old back to the Premier League.
Go on Pepe. Get into them lads in the dressing room. Show them what a winner looks like. You can make a big impact we can still stay up.

Welcome Reina! By any chance do you know if David Villa is still lacing his boots? ?

What do we think?
It’s good to see Reina is happy to have joined Villa and is up for the challenge that lays ahead for him. With Villa’s first-choice goalkeeper Tom Heaton out for the rest of the season after picking up a nasty knee injury earlier in the month, Reina could step in to fill the hole left by the Englishman.
