Aston Villa fans have been responding on Twitter to the latest update on Jack Grealish’s England hopes.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying information originally published by The Telegraph that Gareth Southgate is ” preparing to hand Euro 2020 auditions” to Grealish and Danny Ings.
Should Jack Grealish be in England's Euro 2020 squad?
Yes
No
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were eager to share their opinions on this latest update on Grealish’s international career.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans reacting to this latest update:

The 24-year-old, who is currently valued at £31.5 million according to TransferMarkt, is still yet to make his senior debut for England after only having made seven appearances for the U21 squad back in 2016 (per TransferMarkt). This season for Villa, Grealish has scored eight goals and assisted six times in 23 appearances for the Birmingham club. Now that news has emerged that the England manager could hand Grealish an “audition” ahead of the Euro 2020 competition this summer, a lot of Villa fans have been discussing this latest update.
Why do they need to audition?? Jack is more than capable and ready to play for his country. Why Gareth has taken so long to do this is beyond me.

What do we think?
Grealish has undoubtedly been Villa’s star performer so far this season. His goals and assists record this year has certainly been impressive. Whether this record will be enough to get him a place in Southgate’s Euro 2020 squad is yet to be seen. But most Villa fans seem to think Grealish has done more than enough so far this season to warrant a place in the England squad.
