The Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters have been told not to expect any more new signings from the club today by the Athletic’s Tim Spiers.
The club completed the signing of Daniel Podence from Olympiakos on Thursday but any more incomings now seem unlikely.
However, it appears as if he’s wrong, with Luke Matheson set to have his medical at Wolves, though he will be loaned back to Rochdale.
How have the supporters reacted to the latest update?
Do you expect any further business between now and the end of the window?
Yes

Given his recent forthright protestations about needing new players, I find it hard to believe that he is actually ‘happy’ with the 1st-team squad

What do we think?
It appears Tim Spiers’ comments have deflated some of those who were planning to be glued to their TV sets hoping for their club to do some Deadline Day business.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are pushing for a top-six finish but when the knockout stages of the Europa League kick in the squad will no doubt be at full-stretch once again.
At some point, the West-Midlands club may need to decide on where their priorities lie because if they’re unable to add numbers to their already small squad they run the risk of burn-out.
