Spurs fans were delighted to hear that the club are reportedly monitoring on-loan Leeds defender Ben White ahead of a potential move this month.
According to Sky Sports, Spurs are one of several clubs including Liverpool and Chelsea looking at the 22-year-old, who has seriously impressed on his loan spell with the Championship side so far this season. White is a product of the youth academy at Brighton and has made two appearances for the Premier League side in his time with the club, whilst also enjoying loan spells with Newport County and Peterborough.
However, the Englishman’s stock has seriously risen in English football, as he has become a major part of Marcelo Bielsa’s side, playing every minute for the promotion hopefuls and averaging an impressive 7.15 rating. It is no surprise that the youngster is attracting attention from some top Premier League clubs, with Leeds having kept 12 clean sheets in the league already this season with him in the side.

These Spurs fans would clearly love to make a move for White in January after his excellent performances with Leeds.
What do we think?
White has been a massive part of what has been an excellent defensive side so far this season in the Championship; with Leeds having the most clean sheets in the league. Currently valued at £2.25 million by transfermarkt, you suspect that Brighton would demand a lot more for the youngster if Spurs did make an approach in January. But considering Jose Mourinho’s current defensive woes, White could be the ideal signing for the North London club.
