Spurs fans were treated to the news that Harry Kane has been valued as the sixth most expensive footballer in the world.
According to the CIES Football Observatory (via COYS.com), Kane is sixth; behind Kylian Mbappe, Raheem Sterling, Mohamed Salah, Jadon Sancho and Sadio Mane in the world football value rankings. The Spurs striker has established himself as one of the best forwards in the world in recent years; having hit 181 goals in 278 goals for the North London club.
A product of the youth academy at Spurs, Kane has been in sensational form so far this season for club and country; with 30 goals in all competitions this campaign. It is no surprise, therefore, to see the 26-year-old amongst the world’s elite on the latest rankings, although his recent hamstring injury may well see his value decrease in the next round of rankings.
Should Spurs cash in on Harry Kane?

The most complete forward who doesn’t just score goals and they rate the others above him ?

People need to understand that they take into account the players age, injury record, form, contract length and marketing potential before they get offended.

I genuinely feel like the only way can progress as a complete squad is if we sell him and do a Liverpool

We need to cash in, y’all think it’s crazy but it a similar situation to coutinho. We’re stuck unless we sell. I say win FA cup then sell

How are these players worth more than him
— kieran (@Kieranwright26) January 7, 2020
Sorry, but Sancho more valuable than Kane, LAUGHABLE!
Mane and Salah is also quite humorous being that neither of them would score nearly as often without the other.

These Spurs fans clearly feel that Kane has been undervalued, although two fans feel that Spurs should cash in on the striker in order to progress as a club.
What do we think?
Spurs’ sale of Gareth Bale in 2013 helped them invest in players such as Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld, who have of course been vital in Spurs becoming Champions League regulars in the last few seasons. Perhaps if they were to cash in on Kane, they could take the next step and become regular title challengers if the potential amount of money was to be invested properly.
