A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans are fuming at the latest announcement from their club.
Should Tottenham have let Maghoma go?
Yes
No
Spurs confirmed that they had sold 18-year-old Paris Maghoma to Brentford, and many Tottenham supporters thought that it was going to be a new player announcement.
We have reached agreement with @BrentfordFC for the transfer of Paris Maghoma.
Good luck, Paris! ?#THFC ?? #COYS pic.twitter.com/LnFzDaNQ54

Thought it was another signing.

Cool. Now use that money to make Gio permenant or build Lamela a statue, it’s your choice.

I just glanced and thought we signed someone from PSG

Other Spurs fans, though, wish Maghoma luck at his new club.
Good luck Paris. You have been through the nose comprehensive, professional apprenticeship at the THFC Academy. Go to Brentford and show them the player we’ve helped to grow to the pro that you are today #COYS

I have a feeling this will bite us badly. Brentford are well known for an amazing ability to scout and pick up very good talents for cheap and sell them off for a good profit.

Gutted about this – such a talented young player, one of the few from the academy I thought could have a career at Spurs. Real shame, to be losing our future like this, but best of luck to the lad.

Good luck Paris ??

What do we think?
Maghoma made 67 appearances for Tottenham’s youth sides and will now go into Brentford’s B team.
Spurs meanwhile are still in the hunt for a striker and are expected to confirm the sale of Christian Eriksen to Inter Milan.
Tottenham have two weeks of the transfer window left, and they must make sure they sign a striker by then.
