These Leeds United fans have been discussing Marcelo Bielsa’s comments about Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah.
Phil Hay relayed Marcelo Bielsa comments about the unfair treatment of Arsenal and Eddie Nketiah. With Nketiah still currently an Arsenal player, some of these Leeds United fans found the situation confusing as they believe Nketiah won’t get much game time in North London.
The 20-year-old played 19 times for Leeds, which is exactly the same amount of times Nketiah has played for Arsenal’s first-team.
Here’s some for the comments from the Leeds United fans on Twitter:
Bielsa talking about Nketiah again. Clearly not happy with Arsenal. Says the treatment of Leeds (recalling him early) was "unfair". "We did everything we promised so we have nothing to blame ourselves for. The same with (Jack) Clarke." #lufc

Agree wholeheartedly. But as he’s staying at Arsenal then that makes it less complicated.

He will play for the Arsenal U23s instead of our U23s.

Strange they recall for not getting enough game time and now he’ll sit on their bench instead

I agree with Marcelo in this instance. Why recall Eddie just to bench him some more? He’d have got game time here (started last 2 games). @Arsenal are a plonker club

These Leeds United fans clearly don’t feel Nketiah will get much game time in Arsenal’s first-team either, which does make this whole situation rather confusing.
They amount of media surrounding nkeitiahs lack of minutes would of been far less had he gone to another championship club. But yet he was injured for a month. It definitely played a part in his recall. Bielsa has every right to be angry about it

So he goes to Arsenal and plays less than he would had he stayed at Leeds.

Should Eddie Nketiah have stayed at Leeds United?
Yes
No
What Do We Think?
Nobody really knows what Arsenal has promised Eddie Nketiah in terms of game time, but if the 20-year-old does just sit on a bench in North London, he will look pretty stupid. Especially if Leeds United then gain promotion to the Premier League this season.
