A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a report in The Athletic’s live transfer blog that claims that Jarrod Bowen does not want to move to West Ham and would prefer to join Newcastle.
The Magpies have been linked with the Hull City man this month.
However, at the moment, the Toon have not made contact with Hull City over the 23-year-old – who is valued at £9m by Transfermarkt, and their stance remains the same.
Will Newcastle make a move for Bowen?
Yes, the player wants to join
No, they have messed it up
This has infuriated these Toon fans who cannot believe their club doesn’t want to sign a player that wants to join them.
Bowen would prefer to join #NUFC over West Ham. But NUFC haven't made an approach & aren't expected to. [@RSooty73]

What do we think?
The Hammers are the only side to have agreed a fee with the Tigers for Bowen, but it emerged earlier today that the deal stalled over personal terms, and now a report has emerged that the Toon are Bowen’s preferred option.
They have just released Ki Sung-yeung, which has made space for Danny Rose in their Premier League squad, and an offer from Celtic has just arrived for Christian Atsu.
If the Magpies could get Atsu to move to Glasgow, then they would have space for Bowen, and if they pulled that off, then it would be an incredible deal.
