A lot of Newcastle United fans have reacted to a report from Portugal, which claims that the Toon are prepared to make a last-minute bid for Vincent Aboubakar (via Sport Witness).
Will Aboubakar end up at Newcastle?
Yes
No
The report states that Newcastle are competing with Espanyol and Brondby for the Porto striker, but these Toon fans are not convinced and think this is a fake rumour.

One fan even described him as the new Papiss Cisse. The African attacker featured in 131 games for the Tyneside club, producing 44 goals and 10 assists in that time.

What do we think?
Steve Bruce confirmed in his press conference that he was expecting no further incomings (9:48) after adding Nabil Bentaleb, Valentino Lazaro, and Danny Rose to his squad.
A late move for Olivier Giroud fell through, (9:48) and it looks like the Toon will not be bringing anyone else in.
Aboubakar, who is valued at £6.3m by Transfermarkt, has scored 58 goals for Porto in 122 games, but it is unlikely that the Cameroon international will end up at Tyneside by the end of today.
In fact, it seems that Newcastle won’t be signing anyone else.
