Manchester City continue to be linked with a host of central-defenders with the transfer window now open. One of those being linked is Inter’s Milan Skriniar, as per David Ornstein of The Athletic.
Even with Aymeric Laporte set to return next month, it’s clear that City are lacking quality in the centre of their defence.

What do we think?
Skriniar would be an excellent addition to Pep Guardiola’s squad. At just 24-years-old, he is a regular in an Inter side who stand a real chance of winning the Scudetto and putting an end to Juventus’ dominance.
He has started 100% of Inter’s Serie A fixtures so far this season and usually plays as one of a central-defensive trio. Signed from Sampdoria back in 2017 for £30m, the 6ft 1in defender will only get better and could be the long-term solution to a position that’s been extremely problematic for City this season.
