Sheffield United managed to progress to the next round of the FA Cup after beating AFC Fylde 2-1 this weekend. The win was great for Chris Wilder who is looking to improve on his impressive start to the season by finishing in the top 25% of the league by the time the season finishes. The Blades are currently in eighth place, but just two points off fifth (Sky Sports).
The match was won 2-1 after Callum Robinson and Leon Clarke scored for Wilder. Fans loved Robinson’s goal. His quick turn provided him with just enough space to slide the ball past Sam Horby in the AFC Fylde goal. Many fans were glad to see the player getting on the scoresheet after only managing to score once previously this season (transfermarkt.co.uk). One fan worries, though, that Robinson has found his level playing against the semi-professional side.

Is Callum Robinson really just good enough for a semi-professional level?
Yes
No
Other fans reacted to how quickly the goal was scored. With the goal being scored in the eighth minute, fans were confident that the game was already won. One fan hopes the success of Robinson in this match will help translate into the league. He thinks they can achieve Champions League football next season if every player stays in form.

What do we think?
Robinson’s goal was brilliant. But he will hope to continue that goalscoring when he next plays in the Premier League. It is there that the fans will judge his truel potential, not against lowly AFC Fylde.
