These Liverpool fans would sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz if they were given the choice.
After The Kopite sent out a tweet saying: “You’re given the opportunity to sign any player you want in the summer. Who are you choosing and why?” Plenty of the fans that replied stated they would like to sign Kai Havertz if given the chance.
The 20-year-old is currently playing for Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, scoring just twice in 14 matches, while also only managing to record one assist.
Interestingly, he has been linked (as per Athletic, via TEAMtalk) with a potential summer move to Anfield.
Here’s what the Liverpool fans had to say about Kai Havertz on Twitter:

Havertz, the next Firmino.

Kai Havertz’s lack of goals continues in the UEFA Champions League, with the 20-year-old failing to score or assist in the five outings he’s had in the competition.
Nevertheless, these Liverpool fans are clearly still very keen on getting Havertz to come to Anfield, despite the lack of goals and assists at his current club.
Harvetz. I didn’t know what the fuss about him was, until I started seeing him more. I really think that he’s the closest player to ever replacing Firmino. As long as our talismans are wingers, a ST will never be useful to us, we need a brilliant understudy of a CF for Firmino.

(Excluding Mbappe) Havertz to eventually turn him into Firmino JR

Who would you like to see at Liverpool?
Kai Havertz
Kylian Mbappe
What Do We Think?
At just 20-years-old and already playing 14 matches in the Bundesliga this season, Kai Havertz is clearly seen as a talented young player by Bayer Leverkusen.
However, with the youngster failing to score or assist in the UEFA Champions League, that doesn’t fill us with confidence. Right now, we would avoid signing Havertz and maybe have another look at him in two or three years.
