Liverpool fans have been calling for Adam Lallana to leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expires.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldWatch shared a post on their page asking their followers if they would offer the Englishman a one-year contract this summer.
Should Adam Lallana be given a new one-year contract?
Yes
No
This post then gathered a number of replies from Villa fans who do not want to see Lallana get an extra year-long contract.
Here is a sample of Liverpool fans not wanting the midfielder to get a new contract this summer:
Not in a million years.

The midfielder’s current contract at the Merseyside club expires at the end of this season (per Transfermarkt). But it seems as though a number of Liverpool fans do not want to see Lallana get a new one.
I wouldn’t as long as he is here we will not bring in quality player in his position thanks for the good memories thanks for playing with a fully committed heart and soul but he belongs to the lower teams now

No time for him to move on

As much as it pains me to admit it, it’s time to say goodbye. Sentimentalism and nostalgia won’t move us forward. I would rather have Curtis Jones and Gruici get more playtime. Hopefully, Klopp is not going to fall into the complacency pitfall. Look at United and their state.

What do we think?
It seems as though some Liverpool fans want Lallana to make way for young players like Curtis Jones and Marko Grujic to make their mark in the Liverpool squad next season.
And, of course, the addition of Takumi Minamino has also added an extra body in midfield.
